How We Can Help
Mental health, just like our physical health, can develop problems from time to time. In fact, 1 in 3 of us will develop difficulties with our mental health at some point in our lives. These problems can sometimes lead to significant distress or difficulty in functioning in the way we would like to and this can have a real impact on our quality of life, work and relationships. It is not always easy to tackle these problems by ourselves, or even know where to start to find help that you can trust to make a real difference.
At Mindproof, we offer people somewhere they can find a highly qualified mental health specialist, who has extensive experience in assessing and treating a wide range of common mental health problems. We believe strongly that therapy should be appropriate and evidence-based, this means that it is proven to be effective by a wealth of independent research. Our therapies are informed by the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) who are responsible for providing national guidelines on evidence-based treatments for public health in the UK and our therapists are fully accredited with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies (BABCP), who ensure the highest standards of practice and ethics are maintained.
We view all our clients with complete non-judgement, whatever the situation or difficulty, and you can rest assured that our approach is always collaborative and flexible to meet your needs. We can offer a place of warmth and support with encouragement and challenge, so that you can build confidence in moving forward towards your individual mental health goals. Our overall philosophy is to help people learn to become their own therapist, so that they can build resilience and manage their mental health both now and in the future.
